Hello Again!

Well today is the last day of March and boy am I happy! It turns out my eye is absolutely okay but I will be missing part of my pupil forever making my Tennessee trip unforgettable! Speaking of Tennessee that trip was so life changing. To see the way other people live and how poor some people are made me want to cry. The peoples whose house I worked on had no working toilet, no sink, their room was broken, ... It was awful to see the these people, so caring, in this type of position. I'm not sure if i'm actually aloud to share these photos but no one told me I couldn't.

These are the people I went with. I only knew the one girl before I left and now I am so close with all of them!

Haitus

Just as an FYI as of right now I won't be able to update for the next few days. Not only am I full of homework to do (that I can't see) but I also can't see ... When i was in Tennessee I hit my eye and part of my pupil disappeared ... in case your wondering what that looks like

Here ya go! Right now they have me on steroid eye drops and dilation eye drops in my left eye. So if i close my left eye I can see fine but then I look funny! I'm laying off the makeup until I finish my drops. Obviously my trip to Tennessee will be one thats never forgotten (since my eye will most likely never come unstuck!)
Hope everyone is well

We were in Tennessee working on houses! I will post more pictures from what happened there but it was a life changing experience. The scenery is beautiful, the people were fantastic, the conditions were awful but we changed a house for the better. Our anthem for the week was you can't turn meatloaf into rib-eye which is true but we did the best we could under our circumstances. I scratched my cornia, i have bruises all over, a huge scrape on my kneww and endured brutally cold showers in brutally cold weather, it's not my time of a good time but when i put it into perspective it is my idea of a good time and I can't wait to go back honestly.

an island

Map
So there is this island by mt house called "Burlington Island." One of my goals this year is to make it over there. It's illegal if you get caught going over there but you only live once so why not? Burlington Island is where all the trees are in the right corner of the picture. The picture also shows what Burlington Island looks like :) So if I ever make it over there I will be sure to bring my camera!

Hello March

jump
I have missed you and I am so glad we are one month closer to spring/summer. March is for so many exciting things I can't even wait! It also means I am only 2 months away from this semester ending. Hopefully March is for new adventures that are once in a life time!
