I started a blanket for my good friend adam who is having a baby girl. Adam is a great friend and I thought really the only way to be a great friend back is to obviously smother him in gifts! A few of our friends and I threw in money for a whole bunch of baby clothes and accessories and now the only thing left to do is finish the blanket and give it a good wash!
I chose purple and yellow because pink was just to cliche and I'm sure he is getting so much pink stuff anyways!

Okay so lets be honest, I don't usually drink while I am sewing. It just so happened to be funny that the bottle was there. Sewing on a lazy Sunday I don't always look my best. My room definitely does not look its best. Don't judge!
not drinking ;)
I ran out of bias tape, so I went to buy some. When I came home I got distracted. The apron is still not finished.

When you buy the wrong bias tape and your in the middle of a project you just have to make do. I made do with a melon rum, how do you make do?
also, advert your eyes from the mess on my desk. (and my floor, and under the desk, and the table across from my bed, especially that one) oh and also also, happy 100th post to me!

So at the beginning of the year
Holly decided she was going to celebrate every holiday for this year, How fun! I have been enjoying her posts about what holiday it is and how she celebrated it. Today was
thesaurus day and tomorrow is popcorn day. Popcorn is one of my favorite foods and I am very excited to be celebrating!!
Just wanted to stop by & let everyone know right now I just started school for spring semester. Having six classes so things just got a little hectic for me. I should have a few posts here and there though even with being super busy.

About a month ago when I got to go to my aunt Pegs house I saw two horses! I soon found out they were her neighbors horses. She says they are snobby horses but i fell in love with them. They are more skitzy to me than anything but they are so lovely. Here are a few pictures from my rendezvous with the horses.
Only one horse came to visit. The other horse was to scared of us i guess.
So beautiful
The horse actually let me pet him, what a wonderful day!

A while ago i made this
post. I put off making the second post until i finished all of my Christmas blogging but since its all over her is my part two!
My Aunt Peg has a extremely lovely house. What I'd really like to talk about is the atmosphere and set up she has made for herself. The garden area outside is like her sanctuary and she has it really set up nice. She told me I have to come back in the Summer and see it when all of her items are blooming and I honestly can not wait! Here is the outside of her little garden sanctuary in the winter!
Here's her house from the garden area!
She made this fence out of twigs. It was so gorgeous in person. My picture does not do it justice.
She said this is her tea table when she has her friends over, how cute.
This is the bridge that connects her house and her neighbors house. Its such a sweet little community they live in.
Although Aunt Peg is from my step-dad's side she is slowly becoming ym favorite aunt. She knits, she gardens, she decorates. Shes going to school for teaching (like me) what more could i want in a person, you know? Do you have any favorite family members? Hope all is well!

Well,
Strumpet is having a new swap, a Valentines Day swap! But here I am at last blogging about the ornaments I received.
My package came all the way from Mexico and i was so excited to get it! My partner, Sara, Sent me treats, a ring, and two ornaments! I was so elated when i got the package that i ripped it open! Now i can't wait till next Christmas so i can display them!
The first ornament I opened was this one. It's so simple but so complex. I love how cute it is!
I love this one so so much. Green is one of my favorite colors and i think it was embroidered perfectly. It is one of my most favorite hand-made gifts I've ever received!

A while back my best friend told me she found
kittens. Well she decided to keep these cats and I am the proudest god mother to these cats that there could ever be!
I am like Elmira from Tiny toons, except I don't hurt the wee little animals. She has since named the cat Jude, and he is so well behaved. He is also such a cuddle bug.
Always wondering where his next petting will come from Jude will follow you around the house like a little puppy. I just wanna eat him up!
And this picture of
Eddy and Jude to be one of the most precious images i have ever seen. Seriously. What a cute cat!I'm sure you will be seeing more of my favorite cat!

I went to get my oil changed on Monday after a little fiasco involving a lost oil cap and oil all over. Well while I was waiting to get my car back I stopped over at the thrift store. I found the most amazing cups I have ever seen in my life and for only 50 cents each they were such a steal! I scooped them up even though one of them is missing (there is supposed to be 12)

Oh how I wish they had the twelfth day. I bought all of these cups for a whopping $5.50. I’m so glad I had to get an oil change!

The day after Christmas there was a huge snow storm and I had to venture out to work. Well after I got to work they sent me home after like an hour. So I stopped at the craft store and picked up some yarn, I knew it was going to be a long next 24 hours! Here are some pictures from the storm about two weeks ago!
A lot of tea drinking went on during this storm! I hope anyone who endured this storm along with me stayed safe!
