I feel December is all about the little things. I love buying people tons of little things instead of one big thing. I also think its about the little touches people make in their houses. Our bathroom was lacking a little Christmas magic so i got down to business.

I grabbed some red fabric, white thread, and two cotton balls. I cut triangles out of the fabric and made my cotton calls into tiny little balls and whipped them into this,

little baby hats. Do you know what i did with these baby hats? well that is exactly correct, i put them on anything with a face in the bathroom, however did you know?!

i love them so much!! It's the little things people!
15 days and 40 minutes, but really who's counting?

A few weeks ago i was on
framed cooks and i saw a recipe for what seemed like the most delicious oatmeal in all the world! So i decided i would make it, it was super easy and pretty delicious. I did however find out that i am not to big a fan of figs, so if i make it again i will probably not use them, other wise it was so good!

This is everything we used, instead of using one cup of dried cranberry's we used one half cup of raisins and one half cup of dried cranberry's.

This is all of it in the crock pot, i was so excited for the next morning!

In our bowls in the morning, so yummy!

found via weheartitToday is Thanksgiving and i have to say that I am so very thankful for being alive! I am so thankful for everyone in my life and that my stepsister made it home safely from west Virginia! We all got up at 7:00am this morning and went to the flea market, its one of our traditions but because of the impending rain there was hardly anyone selling anything. It wasn't all a waste though, we had some good family time.
So heres a few things i have been thankful for lately; My boyfriend, Family, Christmas time, love, smiles, cameras, cellphones, scarves, coats, gloves, hats, socks, new shoes, knowing how to crochet, friends, cardigans, family time, comfy beds, cuddle partners, computers and the internet.
There is so much more i am thankful for but heres the short version! I hope everyone has an amazing Thanksgiving! I can't wait to put up my Christmas tree!

Recently my step-dad told me he had something to give me from when he was younger and I was excited about it. Now that I have it i am even more excited! My step-dad gave me his old film camera with two lenses, I can't wait to use it!

This is the camera, I don't know much about it so i'm hoping theres some information online about it somewhere. He included a photo book and about three newspaper articles about film cameras that he clipped.

He gave it to me with a wide angle lens

and a telephoto lens!
I can't wait to have some free time and use it!

okay, I admit it. When I should be paying attention in class I doodle. This is what I have been waiting for all year (besides the beach), it is the most wonderful time of the year. Everyone is so friendly and happy, seriously I don't think i have ever met anyone who hates Christmas.

It has been on my mind a lot! Trust me :)
