Christmas Cookies

I went over my friend Laurens house the other day and we made some delectable cookies. Okay, we went shopping and came home to premade cookies (she made earlier in the week) and decorated them. I had no help in making the cookies just the decorating and boy some of them came out so pretty! (others not so much!)
Oh Christmas Tree
Lauren has the biggest Christmas tree i have ever seen, until I got to Eddy's house. It puts out little 5 and a half foot tree to shame but thats okay. I was in aww of this gorgeous tree.
Oh Deer
Her step-dad is an avid hunter and her brother, Kyle, thought the deer should be festive too. I think he did a wonderful job!
Crazed Maniac
This is Lauren, she gets that crazed look in her eyes when there is tons of sugar around.
Cookies
Here are a few pictures of the cookies I decorated. I was to busy getting my hands dirty that I had no time for more pictures!
Cookies
This was my prized cookie. It would of won a gold metal.

I'm so sad that Christmas is over. I feel like i spent so much time preparing for it and not enough time enjoying it. I hope everyones Christmas was more than lovely.

steel oats

A few weeks ago i was on framed cooks and i saw a recipe for what seemed like the most delicious oatmeal in all the world! So i decided i would make it, it was super easy and pretty delicious. I did however find out that i am not to big a fan of figs, so if i make it again i will probably not use them, other wise it was so good!

This is everything we used, instead of using one cup of dried cranberry's we used one half cup of raisins and one half cup of dried cranberry's.

This is all of it in the crock pot, i was so excited for the next morning!

a chinese kind of night

general tsos

Last night was my first night back from buffalo, i am still getting organized, cleaning, doing laundry and unpacking. My cord for my camera is somewhere in all of that mess & since yesterday was used just to relax and watch movies with eddy that was all i did. First we watched the final episode of Work of art, it completely took me by surprise as in i was baffled, honestly. Next we watched art & copy, delicatessen, & sunshine cleaning. They were all good movies! In between all of that i made General Tso's chicken, dumpling & egg drop soup. It was a lot simpler then i thought it would be which was great. I made 3 new hats while i was away and am ready to get back into gear with a new project, maybe a cute cardigan or caplet. I'll be back later this week with a real update!
